Rajkot : SSF National sahityotsav has begun in Rajkot, Gujarat. After visiting the dargah of Haji Ibrahim Turkey, Mufti Mujahid Ali Baava, Mufti of Rajkot, hoisted the flag. The spiritual conference was held after.

Contestants and delegates from many states will be a part of Sahityotsav, which will host various art competitions, debates and literary talks.Winners of literary awards, professors from universities, research scholars and students will lead dialogues. More than 60 competitions will begin today, which will be held in three categories.


The first national Sahityotsav is going to be held after completing state sahityotsavs. The sahityotsav will be inaugurated on 24th February by Dr Alaa Janeb, well known Egyptian poet and professor at Al Azhar University. Padmashri Dr Shahabuddin Rathode will be the chief guest of the ceremony. Poet Manohar Trivedi, writer Tushar M Vyas, Dr Farooq Naeemi, Noushad Alam Misbahi, and Suhairudeen Nurani will attend. The closing ceremony will be inaugurated by Sheikh Abubakr Ahmed, the Grand Mufti of India. Padmashri Aktarul Al Wasi will be the chief guest. Dr Abdul Hakeem Azhari, Shoukath Naeemi, and Shareef Nizami will attend the ceremony along with prominent figures in literature and politics.
